Jang Da Ah recently opened up about her younger sister, Jang Wonyoung.
As the elder sister of IVE member, Jang Da Ah has also ventured into acting under Starship Entertainment. Last year, Starship even introduced her before her debut, repeatedly highlighting her relation to Jang Wonyoung.
With Jang Wonyoung already a prominent figure, many became curious about Jang Da Ah's role in the drama "Pyramid Game" eager to see what the sister of a rising star had to offer.
Nevertheless, Jang Da Ah now asserts that she never wanted to be known solely as Jang Wonyoung's sister. During an interview with SPOTV News, she mentioned her sister. When asked if she received any feedback from Jang Wonyoung regarding her drama, she simply replied:
"She didn't give me any particular feedback. I'm just glad that my family enjoyed the drama."
The media also inquired about her feelings regarding being labeled as Jang Wonyoung's sister, to which Jang Da Ah stated:
"It was revealed that I was her sister as I was starting to gain attention. I accepted that it might happen, even though it wasn't my choice. I hoped that this label would fade once I made a name for myself as an actress. Of course, it wasn't something I desired from the beginning."
She then confessed that she would have preferred to keep it a secret, expressing:
"I didn't want anyone to know. People knowing about it didn't align with my wishes."
