The New Nth Room: 200,000 Criminal Men Sharing Photos of Girls They Know

A few years ago, the "Nth Room" made headlines a Telegram group where a number of men committed sexual crimes by manipulating innocent girls, who became victims of their atrocities.

Netflix has released a documentary on the horrific sexual scandal of the Nth Room, which had shocked South Korea.

Recently, an incident dubbed "the new Nth Room" has emerged, causing a similar uproar in South Korea. According to various sources, including victims, a collection of Telegram chat rooms with a total of more than 212,000 participants has been exposed. It has been revealed that to gain access to these rooms, one must submit a series of photos of any girl or woman from their surroundings, such as classmates, sisters, friends, girlfriends, or ex-girlfriends, and provide the girl's personal information.

Some of these rooms revolve around the humiliation of family members, where criminals take photos or videos of themselves inappropriately touching their sister or mother. An account called Queenarchive1 on X was one of the first to expose the issue. They posted screenshots from these Telegram rooms. In one screenshot, an abuser uploaded a video of lifting their younger sister's skirt and touching her inappropriately while she slept. their account has since been suspended, apparently, because many abusers reported their tweets and accounts in an attempt to hide their crimes.

One of the "humiliation rooms" on Telegram with 1,932 people includes different categories such as "the cousins' room," "the mothers' room," "the acquaintances' room," "the older sisters' room," or "the younger sisters' room." Let’s see what kind of photos are in these rooms. I have censored the underwear and any visible skin, but left the clothing and blankets visible so you can know if you are a victim. If you seem to be a victim, please prove it, and I will put you in contact with the person who provided the information.

The platform also includes rooms containing AI deepfake pornography. Internet users have quickly fought against these rooms, revealing a list of schools where criminals and victims have been reported. The long list includes middle and high schools, highlighting the young age of these cybercriminals. Major schools such as the famous Yonsei University, Seoul National University, and Korea University are also not spared.

Due to the lack of police action and the fact that the justice system generally prefers not to reveal the names of criminals, it has become common practice in South Korea regarding these crimes to reveal the identities of criminals and circulate a list of the criminals' names online, so they can be recognized in schools.

The content in these rooms is truly shocking. In the screenshots, criminals post videos and photos of their ex-girlfriends and younger sisters, allowing other criminals in the chat room to comment on them.

"I’m sharing content of my little sister."

"This is the most [censored]."

"This is a video my ex-girlfriend sent me. How is she?" "Her body."

"The noona from my school is f***ing pretty."

"It makes me want to go to school."

"I want to see panties. Why is everyone wearing safety shorts?"

"I have a lot of photos of the noonas from my school."

The list of schools involved in these rooms grows by the minute, which is not surprising for a place gathering 212,000 criminal men.
