Choi San recently spoke out against rumors
Recently, the member of ATEEZ appeared at a Dolce & Gabbana event in Italy.
While fans were delighted to see him, it quickly raised questions of racism, firstly because of the outfit he was given by the brand for the event, which didn't fit in at all with those of the other guests, but also because of a photo which clearly showed that no place had been provided for him to sit, and that he, therefore, had to sit between two guests, without a cushion, during the show.
As a result, Dolce & Gabbana was accused of racism towards Choi San for this lack of consideration. Following this rumor, which gained a lot of momentum, Choi San decided to speak out himself and defend the brand.
During a live broadcast, the member of ATEEZ declared:
"For the cushion, I myself decided to sit like this. I'm sad it caused a misunderstanding.
I chose this outfit out of 10 others because it was my favorite. I wanted to challenge myself with this outfit, particularly considering the identity of the show, and I was grateful that they gave me one of the main looks from last year's show.
"I had dinner with Dolce's grandfather (Dominico Dolce) and we talked about a lot of things, and he said, 'Italians love you,' and he told me a lot of good things,"
"So no more misunderstandings, please! I had a great time!"
