Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee became the subjects of romance rumors when a Japanese netizen claimed to have seen them together during a vacation in Hawaii.
The Japanese netizen wrote, "As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I saw Korea's top actress and actor cuddling next to a small pool. I'm getting nervous about this super gossip," tagging Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee's works such as 'Reply 1988' and 'Nevertheless'.
The witnessed account of the two staying together in a luxurious hotel in Hawaii ignited the flames of the romance rumors.
As the romance rumors spread from the witnessed account, both Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee acknowledged that they were indeed in Hawaii, but they emphasized that "romance rumors are private matters." Ryu Jun Yeol's side stated that he was in Hawaii for a photoshoot, while Han So Hee's side mentioned that she was enjoying her first vacation with her close friends since her debut.
The netizen who found out about the romance rumors triggered by their witnessed account even added more comments, saying, "I feel overwhelmed that my small post uploaded yesterday has caused such a stir in Korea," hinting that they possess photos of the two.
However, the authenticity of this netizen's witnessed account has not been confirmed. They even deleted all their posts as the romance rumors spread like wildfire. Nevertheless, after the netizen claimed to have witnessed the two in Hawaii, it was oddly confirmed that both Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee were staying in Hawaii at the same time, drawing attention to the timing of the romance rumors.
Moreover, both sides, instead of actively denying the romance rumors, took an ambiguous stance by stating, "It's not true, but romance rumors are private matters."
A representative from Ryu Jun Yeol's agency, C-JeS Studio, stated to Sporty News, "It's true that Ryu Jun Yeol is staying in Hawaii for a photoshoot," and asked for respect for his personal trip. They further stated, "We will not respond to witnessed accounts from private spaces in the future."
Similarly, a representative from Han So Hee's agency, 9ATO Entertainment, also acknowledged that Han So Hee was staying in Hawaii, saying, "Han So Hee went on her first vacation with her close friends .
