First of all, I've been a fan of Hyeri for 13 years. But that doesn't mean I blindly support her. I also think Hyeri was reckless on Instagram.

Knetizens react to Hyeri, Ryu Jun-yeol, and Han So-hee's love triangle controversy

Even before her public relationship with Ryu Jun-yeol, Hyeri had been involved in dating rumors and had a public relationship with someone else. She has even publicly apologized for her words and actions. So, I was quite surprised when she posted so emotionally on Instagram this time.

As a celebrity, she should know better than anyone about the responsibility of her words, especially when it comes to relationships and the rumors that come with them. But she posted a picture similar to Hawaii and even added a caption saying it's fun. It felt like she was directly targeting someone.

I really don't understand that point. If Han So-hee responded to Hyeri, it means that Hyeri must have targeted one of them.

But looking at the official statements before the incident, Hyeri and Ryu Jun-yeol denied the breakup rumors in  August 23 but confirmed the breakup in November. On the other hand, Han So-hee said they broke up in early 23, which is also confusing.

If they actually broke up early in 23, why did both sides deny it in August? And why did Hyeri unfollow Ryu Jun-yeol as soon as the news of Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol dating came out?

Once again, Ryu Jun-yeol remains silent while Han So-hee admits to dating, so it's frustrating to see them just follow the official statements. It seems like they want to distance themselves from this fight and protect their own images, leaving only Hyeri and Han So-hee wasting their images.

The point of this post is that since Han So-hee has made a statement, it would be nice if either Ryu Jun-yeol or Hyeri also make a final statement. That way, there won't be any more rumors and we can support their beautiful love in peace.

Honestly, even though Han So-hee made a statement, there are still lingering doubts about the three of them, right?

Here are some comments :

  • I think it's strange that Han So-hee talked about the exact timeline of their breakup as if she is completely innocent, which makes it seem like Ryu Jun-yeol cheated on his previous partner. However, it's possible that they were in a long-term relationship and decided to get back together, or that one person left some room for reconciliation while the other moved on quickly.
  • I wish Hyeri would explain the situation accurately and fairly, instead of being the only one hurt in this situation. However, someone pointed out that Hyeri was actually the one who hurt the other person.
  • I don't understand why they have to make an official statement and let the public know about their personal matters. They should just resolve it among themselves.
  • Well, I just can't wrap my head around everything in this post. Ryu Jun Yeol has already officially confirmed that he broke up and started dating Han So Hee, so I don't get what more they want. And why is the writer upset that Ryu Jun Yeol stayed quiet? Also, why does it seem like Hyeri is being held to a higher standard when it comes to being responsible with her words? I mean, does she really know more about gossip in the entertainment industry than anyone else?
  • Well, it seems like Hyeri might not speak up. Han So Hee said she'll apologize, right? They'll probably handle it by contacting each other through their agencies or privately and settle things quietly.
  • Even if they weren't dating, there were some tough parts, and it felt like things got more intense as the pieces of the puzzle came together. But how can we know the details of an eight-year relationship?
  • Han So Hee said that they broke up before they started dating, making it seem like Ryu Jun Yeol deceived someone and got into a new relationship.

  • Haha, isn't this perspective too biased? If one were in their shoes, they'd probably express their stance like the two actors did, right? Writing with a nuanced tone that it's difficult to cheer for love when feeling uncomfortable would be more appropriate, wouldn't it?
  • Ryu clarified his position through his agency, so Hyeri just needs to come out and speak. The one who started it all is Hyeri, and she's still the only one who hasn't spoken yet. Case closed.
