On March 24th, Kim Sae Ron's stirrup caused a commotion in South Korea when she released a personal photo with Kim Soo Hyun, the actor who plays the lead in the popular drama "Queen of Tears" in the country.
On the same day, Kim Soo Hyun's agency was quick to quash any dating rumors, stating:
"Hello, this is Goldmedalist. Today, we would like to express the official position regarding the distribution of photos of Kim Soo Hyun. The current rumors of a couple involving Kim Soo Hyun are unfounded.
The photos circulating online appear to have been taken when the two actors belonged to the same agency in the past, and the intentions behind Kim Sae Ron's actions are absolutely unclear. Because of these photos, many misunderstandings and unnecessary speculations are circulating around the actor.
Our agency will firmly respond, through legal representatives of a law firm, to any malicious defamation and insulting message that damages the actor's image and reputation. We ask you to please refrain from spreading unfounded rumors and speculative messages. Thank you."
On March 25, it was Kim Sae Ron who spoke up to address the situation. When contacted by the media, she agreed to respond via phone to MyDaily:
"I am currently preparing my statement on all of this. I will publish it once it has been finalized."
