Initially, he was hesitant to approach her about the project due to her busy schedule with the world tour. However, he believed in giving her the freedom to join only if she was genuinely interested.
PD Jung Cheol Min stated, "My approach was similar to what I did with 'Village Survival, the Eight'. I believe in giving the freedom to join if someone is truly interested in the project. If they're not, there's no pressure to participate. When I come across a good project, I make offers, but I completely understand if there are limitations that prevent their involvement. Luckily, Jennie had a positive experience with 'Village Survival, the Eight'. We had a genuine and transparent editing process, which helped build trust."
After discussing the project with Jennie at the final BLACKPINK concert in Seoul, PD Jung Cheol Min received immediate confirmation from the singer, who expressed enthusiasm about participating in the show. He mentioned, "I presented the plan to her, and she came back that same night, excited about the concept. Her agreement to join the program came quite quickly."
PD Jung Cheol Min also praised Jennie's qualities, stating that she always shows "honesty with her feelings" and is "incredibly charming and endearing."
