DJ Yesong has been arrested following a tragic incident where she collided with a man, resulting in his death.

A former idol who debuted with the group INSTAR in 2019, DJ Yesong has been active as a DJ, primarily in China.
On February 3rd, a car accident occurred in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam district, Seoul, around 4:35 a.m. DJ Yesong, driving a Mercedes Benz, rear-ended a motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist, a delivery person in his fifties, was thrown about a hundred meters from his vehicle and tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Upon the arrival of the police at the scene, DJ Yesong underwent an alcohol test, revealing her blood alcohol content to be well above the legal limit. Consequently, her license was revoked, and she was immediately taken into custody.
Due to concerns that she might flee the country to avoid prosecution, she has been detained pending her trial.
Through her mother, DJ Yesong expressed remorse, stating:
"I know there's nothing I can do to alleviate the pain caused by my actions. I will carry the burden of what I've done to the victim and his family for the rest of my life. After the accident, I couldn't see the victim, and I didn't realize I had hit someone. There were many people around my car, so I got out. My dog started barking, and someone at the scene told me to hold onto my dog, so I did."
