Three BTS fans fled from the Karur district in Tamil Nadu intending to travel to South Korea to see the seven-member group perform.

On Thursday, January 4th, three 13-year-old girls left their homes to meet their favorite idols in South Korea. According to the PTI, the teenagers only had 150 euros (14,000 Indian rupees) and did not possess passports. Unfortunately, their plan to reach South Korea failed when they realized that seeing the group was not possible. This story quickly spread online and prompted reactions from netizens.

Although some admirers showed compassion for the girls, others expressed their disappointment with them. Some pointed out that the seven members of the group are currently on duty, and it's not possible to see them even if they were to find a way to get to South Korea.

Following their discussion about their trip to Seoul, the three young girls arrived in Chennai, Kerala via a train from Erode. They made an attempt to find accommodation in the city and, after facing some difficulties, they ultimately secured a hotel room on Thursday evening.

Unable to find food, the three girls went down to Katpadi station and missed their train. The travelers at the station noticed that they were lost and alerted ChildLine. The girls were taken to a shelter for children in Vellore before being reunited with their parents.

As stated by the PTI, one of the girls is raised by a single mother and the father of another girl has an intellectual disability. The mothers of the three girls had limited time to attend to the daily needs of their children because they all worked as agricultural laborers.

Fans who were informed of the news were left feeling embarrassed and expressed their disappointment towards the girls. Many stated that they were not mature enough to make such decisions. Following guidance, the three fans of the group were sent home on January 6th. Parents were also instructed to ensure that their children received proper support and counseling.
