However, Bae In Hyuk sought to set the record straight during a recent interview. He emphasized that their hand-holding was more of a gesture and not indicative of a romantic involvement. In his own words:
"While we did hold hands, we did not interlace our fingers. Being nominated for the Best Couple award, and considering the other fantastic senior actors nominated in the category, we thought, 'Let's showcase good chemistry too.' Additionally, since the drama had not concluded yet, our on-screen chemistry was still fresh in people's minds."
This clarification comes as a response to the speculations that gained momentum after their seemingly affectionate display at the awards ceremony.
